Andrew Upton is a passionate educator. After graduating with a DipMus and a Btchg, he has spent several years as a registered teacher in an intermediate school classroom. This has allowed Andrew to develop many skills including classroom management and ensuring key learning outcomes for students. Upton Electric Guitar School was born out of the combination of Andrew’s love of teaching and his passion for music. Andrew teaches from his truck in schools throughout Tauranga as well as offering private lessons after school. He lives in Tauranga with his wife Mikah and two daughters Milla and Georgie.
